DUBLIN (Reuters) – European Reserve bank governing council member Gabriel Makhlouf stated on Saturday that while some coworkers currently feel additional rates of interest increases will be required beyond July, he is prepared to wait and take a look at the proof.
” On the proof that we have at the minute, it does appear like, in July, there will be another 25 basis point boost. Some coworkers do feel that we’re most likely to require additional increases in the fall. I’m simply prepared to take a look at the proof,” Makhlouf informed the Irish Independent in an interview.
” I do feel that we’re near the top of the ladder. Some others might feel we’re even more down, however we’ll see.”
