Offshore wind leader acknowledged at Net No Energy Shift Awards

8 winners were revealed at the awards slam in Aberdeen.

Engineering company Balmoral acknowledged by renewable resource market

An Aberdeen-based engineering company was revealed on 24 August as winner of the Green Company Development Award at Scottish Renewables’ Net-Zero Energy Shift Awards

Balmoral, a company of essential services to the overseas wind sector, was acknowledged for increasing its production capability by 40%, opening a quayside shore-to-ship center in Montrose and growing its renewables labor force from 10 to 30.

The Net-Zero Energy Shift Awards, in their 2nd year, brought more than 260 individuals from throughout Scotland’s renewable resource supply chain to Aberdeen where 8 winners were handed awards for their operate in providing the energy shift.

This year’s winners consisted of:

  • Self-governing iOt; winner of the Start-up Award for its ingenious, ecologically mindful street lighting and monitoring systems powered by the sun and wind.
  • IMS Heatpump; winner of the Green Energy Abilities Award for its commitment to supporting those transitioning to the renewables sector and raising awareness of green energy professions in schools and colleges.
  • Ripple Energy; winner of the Innovation and Company Development Award for offering neighborhoods of similar individuals and small companies with access to big scale renewable resource jobs and the advantages they bring.

From more than 100 award entries, the winners were picked by 8 judges from a shortlist of 30.

This year’s Net-Zero Energy Shift Awards were headline-sponsored by TotalEnergies.

Nicolas Payer, UK Nation Chair of TotalEnergies, stated: “The occasion was an event of what’s currently been attained by our crucial sector, and a favorable indication of what is yet to come.
